How is the DEI Assessment scored?
What are the five key principles used to determine the rating for the DEI assessment?
The scoring is based on the following principles:
-
Rewarding positive actions that have been taken rather than penalizing areas not yet implemented.
-
Prioritising proactive, well-embedded, or formal actions over those that are ad hoc or undocumented.
-
Balancing outcomes with the measures put in place to improve them.
-
Upweighting indicators specifically affecting women and marginalized communities compared to the general employee population.
-
Adjusting weightings based on company size. Weightings are adjusted based on company size to reflect differences in budget, resources, and responsibility, using the following segments:
-
1 - 250 staff
-
251 - 1,000 staff
-
1,001 - 5,000 staff
-
5,001+ staff
